Cricket; Windies warm-up washed out Grace Road clash abandoned as a draw

The West Indies' preparations for the third and final Test were hampered by the weather as their warm-up match at Leicestershire was abandoned as a draw.

The tourists were hoping for more time in the middle after Darren Bravo and Adrian Barath his half-centuries on the rain hit first day of the two-day clash.
But torrential overnight showers saturated the outfield at Grace Road, and umpires Mark Benson and Russell Evans decided their was no possibility of any play on Sunday.
Bravo cracked an aggessive 66 as the tourists reached 150-3 at stumps on Saturday, with Barath grinding out an unbeaten 53 from 151 balls.
Sunil Narine had been left out of the side after flying in to replace the injured Kemar Roach, but the spinner is expected to make his Test debut at Edgbaston this week.
